Concerning the CCV and matching cab for sale in the classified section for 8K. Does that 4X12 cabinet contain some special speakers that make it that much better than a Friedman or Bogner 4X12 costing around $1200? If not... Is a CCV seriously worth $6800???? DAMN!!
Probably more of a rhetorical question but fwiw, the ad says CL80s which aren't super popular and are common and thus not commanding big money if you swap them.

Do most other CCVs not have a loop? The ad makes it sound like this one is rare/special/unique although could you make the argument they all are? And it comes with road cases but those might just be garage fodder for some.

All CCV’s have insert effects loops. The CCV for sale is the only one I know of that has a tube effects loop.

Also, all of the Cameron cabinets had G12H30 anniversary speakers. The seller wanted something different.

Not trying to start shit or whatnot but I owned the second CCV ever made and quite honestly preferred some of my Cameron modded Marshall's more so I sold it way, way back and hardly ever even think about it being the amp that got away until I see one of these threads pop up and then think about it again for like 1 to 2 minutes and then forget about it all over again...

I'd rather try a Larry Dino for that kind of money anyway :D

Never cross the streams!

All I can say is if your a gambling type of man then call Mark and order one up, I'm sure he will take your deposit... or you can try to go down to your local music shop or on reverb and try to find this.... yea ... not so much.

A few Bullet points

*hand built by Mark Cameron

*has very rare ccm chrome front and back faceplates that I have never seen on any other ccv

*tube buffered fx loop which I've never seen in any other ccv, as Dave mentioned above , most ccv amps came with just a passive insert fx loop that is not buffered.

*Comes with road cases

*cabinet was owned personally by mark and was his shop cab loaded with English classic lead 80s

There is great news though , you dont have to buy it if you think the price is to high. But if you want one , then here it is in the flesh , with some rare features and ready to go. You want a real deal ccv? Here it is , take it or leave it.

Not trying to be a prick or come off rude but I'm sure the seller would negotiate a little for a serious buyer, also maybe some collectors or players will find these rare options special to them , maybe others dont get it or understand.

Peace y'all have fun ...

Yeah, I was trying to talk Doug Rappoport into selling me his CCV at one point, with no luck, but his had one too.

For 8k Larry would have gone over with a fine tooth german comb and biased it with cat wis   Nah Id take it if was free and sell it to Fortin

I wasn't gonna be the one to do it lol.

But yeah, I laughed when I saw it. Isn't Mark making and selling amps via suckerfreegear on Reverb for like $3k?

Yes, and people get butthurt at even the 3k price tag.

The CCV is so good there are many top players who have one and extol their virtues
Also there are many great clips of them either in a room or in a mix
And no one ever rolls them, they hang onto them for dear life

If any of that is wrong, shoot me
In the thorax region preferably as I’m wearing my vest

I wouldn’t sell my CCV for $10,000. Mark made mine for me 10 years ago this month. I still play it all the time and it’s my favorite amp. Best $2,500 I ever spent.

SO jealous. You RAWK!!!
