Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. To include the external bias jacks on top of everything for that price is pretty amazing.

I almost pulled the trigger till I saw the shipping cost. Still thinking about a 100W with no transformers , no headshell, ordering OT PT CK from heyboer and eventually a purple headshell from mojotone.

Frankly, I'm surprised it took Nik this long to come up with his own flavor of the Jose mod, especially given the success Fortin and Cameron (and the dozens of other hotrodders) have had.

it's $400 to my country, plus at least 90% import and state VAT over both declared value AND shipping cost and a few other courier taxes
so.... at least US$2700 if the amp comes with a full price declaration
would be much cheaper to buy a vintage marshall from USA and "Jose" mod it myself
or even going to malaysia and picking it up in person

Seems like a no-brainer for someone looking for a great hot rodded Marshall tone for a great price. After hearing James' plexi I have no doubts that this thing will be awesome! Wish I had the $ now.

"Yes, it is (available) but clips will be in 1-2 weeks.

It's indeed Jose mod.

ERA selects a few flavors on the master.

Focus is just a tone option, to make it more middy and less bassy, and
reduce the saturation a bit."

Still not sure I understand what the ERA does???

Still not sure I understand what the ERA does???

Probably changing diode combinations and sometimes removing them on the Jose Master, varying the level of saturation...
