But we trust this forum, so a member like clint seems safe. But at the end of a day, it is a gift. I don't know how much the police could/would do with that

It feels like a majority of threads I see with people getting ripped off, whether its here, camera forums, motorcycle forums, etc.. It's all because the person getting ripped off sent Paypal F&F. Idk how anyone on the internet thinks Paypal F&F is a good idea and expects any protections. Using a fee calculator it would cost $1554.75 to include fees. Just eat the $55 and get protections. If you can't afford the $55, haggle or get a new hobby.
