Thanks, and not offended in the least, however, I thought the tone was pretty cool so I'm not hearing what you are. Regardless, I don't think the Axe is necessarily to blame for you not diggin' the tone - could just be you don't like how it was dialed... Just like a tube amp - we've all heard clips that don't sound good to us, when we know a particular amp we have experience with can be dialed to sound like we want it to...

lol, point taken.. might have been how it is dialed in but usually tubes sound bitchin! cause i know they are tubes haha... that said, i have tried to find clips on you tube i liked of the axe through power amps and the like and i just never hear anything that really makes me go WOW that's all. I'd be interested to see what i could dial in on that thing though..

For direct recording, the Axe is great. Not to mention the killer effects to use with your amps...
