Hey, at least you're a good sport about it! I think you would be surprised at the tones you could come up with if you had one to play with for a while. That's not to say you would all of the sudden go digital (I have a number of tubes amps still), but you at least seem open minded about the concept.

A little late in my response.. but yes, I am open to digital totally and completely.. I mean I have been looking at combining cab impulses with recorded tones for example and I have bought numerous analog modelers as well in the past like the tech 21 sans amp line of stuff. I really feel they are close but in a lot of cases I find there is still too much compression, roundness to the tone, and fizzies on the LOW gain stuff to really convince me. I still don't like the Plexi and the JCM800 models I hear. They always make the 2204's way gainier. If they could just make it a tad more raw sounding and less round (if that makes any sense, just what i hear), I'd totally be in. The high gain stuff I agree, it is sounding pretty huge. Anyway you guys could do a few clips of a Plexi nice and open sounding? Like some Zeppelin riffs or something? Also don't shave off the top end..digital is getting there though. Another few years and I think they'll be there.

Sounds like that pretty much nails that tone. The Phase shifter sounds very authentic. The recording quality is very good. Did you add verb or is that on the backing? Good job on the playing. :)

Thanks George... I added the verb when I mixed it down... there are actually three different verbs there...

This tone is so good I think I was hearing some 3's and 9's with gooey silicon overtones.

So do they warn me? NO... They delete my personal webspace and all my files including this song for the first violation of their policy...

I'm speechless...

This sucks. I can't put the clip on SoundClick because it is copyrighted material... Where the hell do you put something like this?
