The Jet City cabs are made "to the same specs as the USA Soldanos", so 11 ply birch.
Got it. My information does come from the source, so it's a moot point. Any perceived variance in tone must be based on guitar/pickup/tube compliment/bias/speaker/cabinet/room.sahlomonic":1bol5x8b said:The Jet City cabs are made "to the same specs as the USA Soldanos", so 11 ply birch.

Yeah, I found the recommended straight V30's didn't quite get me there, but mixed with some T75's (and a mild BB+ boost) and I'm in heaven. Awesome amp, really would like to check out a MK50H II as well.TrueTone500":3ogsap6t said:The Hellcat is a Marshall-voiced circuit. It's a great amp, but it's cabinet dependent for bottom-end.
Yes, my Earhart 50 does sound really good. I never got a chance to a/b it to a MKII though.TrueTone500":1o4vu4bb said:Got it. My information does come from the source, so it's a moot point. Martin Kidd's new designs have all been finalized and are approaching pre-production stage, so you may want to wait a bit. There is a 10 watt, 50 watt, and 100 watt included in the line-up - possible a 30 watt also.Moshaholic":3a2q84sb said:TrueTone500":3a2q84sb said:To those who have been wondering what is going on with Cornford Amplification. Where can I buy a Hellcat? Been looking for one.
