I have been looking for a cost effective solution to store guitars without having to spend $350 or more on a rack. I picked up an Edsal 4 shelf steel shelving unit and set it up to store 6 guitars in their cases. The shelving unit is $41.98 at Home Depot. Hopefully this helps anyone looking to store some guitars without having to spend a lot of money.

That’s a pretty good idea, thanks for sharing. I have a friend that is big into woodworking and for the price of some lumber he built me a guitar case that holds up to 8 guitars. The bottom part can store about 5 cases. Right now I have 11 guitars so a bunch of cases stacked up. I will look into these.

That’s beautiful, nice collection.

I like stands for the guitars above the 8 that fit in my cabinet. But the cases are my issue, I have them stuffed behind a love seat and stacked in another room. I think that little invention of a 3/4 configured shelf would be pretty good for nearly storing cases.

Hang them up.

Looking closer, damn, what is that middle gray flame top HS guitar? That looks killer.

I have 12ish hanging on the wall. But that doesn't solve the case problem. I have two closets full of stacked cases. The rest of my guitars are in... More cases.
. Nice idea though!

I have a nice roadrunner one that folds up like a ATA case. All felt, holds seven guitars and is very well made... But that doesn't fix the having too many cases problem though.
