And you're 17? Holy hell... that's like quadruple my rig and I'm only a year younger than you, haha. Looks killer!

Yeah   I started this whole thing at a young age   It sounds pretty awesome!

We all get annoyed at different things. I get annoyed when I'm selling something on CL and I go through a question and answer dance with somebody and then they tell me they have to sell some gear to get the cash.

I love the fact that NO MATTER what you put in there:

FIRM PRICE
NO TRADES
NO CHECKS
Will not answer if you don't give me a phone number
Don't ask if it's still available
NO SCAMMERS

Some idiot manages to do it over and over and over... If they can't follow very simple instructions, I don't bother anymore. DELETE.

I was really impressed yesterday - I'm selling a Taylor 214ce. Some duochebag from Milwaukee wanted to check it out. I set up a time to show it, and explained that I would be coming from out of town to make the appt - 3 HOURS - so I didn't want to waste my time. Every email was answered within about 30 minutes or less by the buyer.

I left my Dad's so I could get back home in time to meet the appt. (I've been going home most weekends, as my Dad is being treated for cancer, so I'm helping him out almost every weekend.) After the asshole was about 90 minutes late, I emailed and asked if he was coming. No reply. This morning I finally get a reply. "Oh - sorry. I found something else." Whatta dick. I don't fell like beating the ever living piss outta people very often, but today was an exception.

What does it take for people to figure out a little common courtesy these days? I've given up on humanity.

People really disappoint me. People that get taken by scammers disappoint me even more.

+1, I hate when I take time out of my day to meet someone for a craigslist piece and they don't even show up or reply to your calls.
But I'm glad my deal pulled through and everything went smoothly after he replied.

I'm a big fan of if this is a serious deal we exchange cell phone numbers and unless I need a readable address, no more email. It's amazing that committing to cell phone calls has pretty much become the equivalent of a face to face commitment. I also don't contact someone about a piece unless I actually would have cash to go. It keeps me straight on what I need/want vs. what is just a curiosity.

I wish there were a few more people like you on CL.
