Crossroads sequel??

[stratjacket]

Ran across this interesting tidbit. Sounds like a sequel could be in the works and they would have a role for Steve Vai to return as well. Not sure how they would explain away the cutting heads competition from the original. Perhaps Vai comes back with a headless guitar…

Tim Henson is the man for Ralph Macchio's job. When he gets to the Crossroads, it's a crazy AI and Anime Mashup "down under"

Henson and Corey Feldman for sure

Perhaps Jack Butler can now play Lightning Boy’s lick that jammed him up and got his head cut, and he wants divine retribution.

Dave Grohl or Zakk as Jack Butler

[thegame]

Ellen Page as Yngwie vs. Joe Stump as Yngwie

[marvcus]

Tim Henson as Jack Butler would actually be amazing. But I think they’d DEI it and farm that out to one of the girl YouTuber players

The actual movie wasn't really that good. The best part started when they got to the crossroads. That's really the only part of the movie anyone talks about.

Ralph Maccio's character will team up and help Vai's character save his soul.

The article doesn't say a sequel is in the works except in the title. He and Ralph talk about it, and he has ideas but that's as far as it goes. "Haven't given up on it yet" really isn't very committal or promising.
