I wish I could bring myself to buy another. Specifically a Select Series ML. But, they use a cheap plastic nut cut for .009s, and with the dramatic string angles, I had nothing but tuning issues from hell. I'd get the Floyd version, but you're stuck with a quilt top in one color. Why they didn't offer Floyd's across the board on their black ones, is beyond me. The Custom/Alnico II pickup combo is excellent. Here's the one I had:
Nothing special, but I like 'em. From left are a '14 MIK 35th Anniversary ML, an '08 USA MHG Series ML, and an '04 USA Pro Series ML. (Missing in action is my recently acquired '11 USA 1000 Series V, which is in the shop at the moment.) Quite simply, I play them because I find the neck profile to be extraordinarily comfortable.
