People care because there are rules. Not many, and clearly there seems to be a bit of favoritism in how they are applied, but they exist. FOS is great, until people hide behind it. Dan contributes actually nothing to this forum. He rants and raves and posts the same stupid shit over and over. He openly brings family members into discussions and posts racist comments. Everything he posts is intended to be confrontational. And yet, no one calls him on it. Why? Several others have been at least temp banned for that behavior. Someone, not sure who, decided to let him back in after a permanent ban - and he continues with the same behavior. Rules that are applied inconsistently are worthless.

The tomato and pepper crop is better this year than last, but it’s still not a banner season. I do have two Thai Chili plants this year (grown from seeds, special order from some APAC address…), so that’s an interesting first. I sent @Ventura some sauce years ago. Probably my best effort. I miss that dude (good peeps) and the state of the forum back then…
