I seen DIO on the Dream Evil Tour in 87/88 with Craig Goldy while a good player OVERPLAYED everything and I mean everything!!!! Solo's intro outros, fills... he barely played rythym. Really ruined the show for me and I like guitars.

Ugh.

Kinda like singers that don't sing the original line the way it was recorded.

I didn't pay to come and hear a Karaoke version.

It would be cool for a couple songs. After that I’d be heading for the door.

I don't mind the Hologram relive for a fill or song paying tribute to the dead artist but there's not enough LSD on the planet for that.

I'll give the band Kudos their timing is impeccable, there is no speeding up or slowing down here or the vocal track won't line up, that's gotta be a bitch. And Craig Goldy seems to be playing more appropriately but I still hear some unneeded fills and licks, I guess it's hard to change even 30 years later!!!

I wonder where they found live vocal track masters to isolate them to produce the vocal tracks, it's not like original master recorded tracks that can be isolated. Maybe the newer digital tech is able to do this.

I guess we are starting to smear the lines of reality with this technology, while it seems a little rough here I'm sure it's being refined all the time kind of like artificial intelligence.

Would be epic for one track, preferably at the end, otherwise weird.

My band is opening for Dio Disciples later this month in Berkeley.

I was lucky enough to see Dio in 86', the hologram shit however, is pointless.

I think it is pretty cool but probably just because of the nostalgia and wanting to hear that voice and those riffs again. I think that stuff is cool with some artists like Elvis, Michael Jackson, and people that were bigger than life. I think it feels creepy because Ronnie hasn't been away that long.

I'll be honest, it would be creepy but badass if I saw a Cliff Burton hologram appear for like one song in a Metallica show. :)

Have nothing more to say other than I miss Ronnie very much and R.I.P. :(

It's cool for like a minute then it feels wrong... They should make like a DIO VR concert or something for home virtual reality peeps, that would be interesting.
