It's just kinda sad they're so popular with our men and women in uniform. If I was getting ready to go peel some turbans I'd be listening to Decapitated or Vader. Not WWE theme music.

This could be one of the best things ever said.

Comedy Gold right there.....that said, Disturbed are a guilty pleasure....love to play their one song occasionally to get the cobwebs out.

Believe is still a good dis...even if I can only stand to play one or two songs at a time :-)

My band does Down With the Sickness and it's among the top crowd favorites every time.

Well fucking said! I quit a band for wanting to cover a Disturbed song.

So does my band and gets the same reaction. We will keep playing at as long as the crowd likes it.

Just think how many people will hate them if they ever get as popular as Metallica.

I wish I made a million playing out and partying. But then i wouldn't fit in on most forums.

Disturbed, Godsmack, Rob Zombie and others influenced a wave of mindless generic American hard rock bands. They all seem to have three word band names, the same sounding songs, their band photos look the same etc etc. Godsmack, disturbed and Rob Zombie CDs are a must in the douchebag starter kit that also includes a tapout shirt, monster energy hat, white oakley gascan sunglasses, a puck of chew and a pair of fox board shorts. Then just hit the bars and summer music festivals, hammer back coors light in a red cup and stand around with your buddies calling everything "gay' or saying "it's for fags". etc etc

I laughed at the video.  So true but........................ David Draiman is an American songwriter and the lead singer for the heavy metal band Disturbed who has a net worth of $10 million

Bam Margera made millions just hurting himself and acting like an idiot.... what's your point? :)

Nothing quite like a bunch of frustrated musicians player hating on a message board thread...

Hey Dan. Sorry we're making fun of your singer.

I get what you are saying and I'm not even a fan but I think it's an insult to rob zombie to put him in the same category with godsmack and disturbed and other fad bands of that ilk. Rob zombie was part of the underground ny music scene with white zombie playing dives all over for many years before they broke. I saw white zombie play with the ramones once and it was a great show, though I don't know any of his solo stuff other then the radio stuff.

This seems to be common practice here on RT as of late. Slight bands that have been hugely successful in an industry that's incredibly difficult to succeed in , let alone break into, from their computer rooms or offices.
All the while they'd secretly trade places with them so they too, can say they had a dream , went after it, & succeeded in reaching their goals or fulfilling their dreams.

The hate that spewed forward after the initial lighthearted joke was made, was pretty lame RT..

Lighten up, I'm sure all of us have some records in our selection that others here would bash. Just because you like or once liked disturbed while others consider them lame doesn't mean much. It's just guys voicing opinions and laughing at the comedy bit the op posted.

You don't wanna know what I listen to while in the solitude of my private quarters

I used to love disturbed. Still jam a few of their songs. The Game? Man...still killer to me.
But I am the first one to say that video had me damn near pissing my pants laughing.

Probably just like the band laughs when they are cashing their royalty checks. ;)

Two equally annoying things:

Someone who only listens to radio rock

Someone who refuses to listen to any band that's ever been on the radio
