I’ve watched damn near all the vids on this today. I think channel 1 sounds the best. It’s very nice. I see one metal guy got it for a demo. With EMGs, didn’t sound good to me. But everyone else’s demos sounded good. Something about channel 2 does sound bloated. It reminds me of the Mesa Electodyne. Not bad at all, but almost sounds like a resonance dial woulda been nice to have? Price point is good for such a diverse amp. Also, not sure what Bad Cat Celestion speaker the combo comes with?

It’s 2500 for the head. No character seems crazy to me, it sounds more interesting than a lot of the generic high-gainers that get talked about around here, but we all have our own tastes. This might be my first guitar amp purchase since 2020.

I demoed the proto last year.knew it was gonna be a good one,so I did throw down for the new one. Pretty versatile amp.Likes any guitar I ran into it.Most amps just dnt jive with a certain guitar.It can get bright,just balance treble and pres out.2 very different feels/ vibes depending on how u set the ch vols and master..I could see a lot of different types of players on this one.Probably gonna sell a lot of this cat.

Just curious, anyone here have a chance to try one? Agree that the demos sound solid overall (although it's hard to tell how much post-processing is done on these sponsored videos) and the amp seems very versatile.

This guy did a full send buttoning up that shirt… tf.. Only guy I’ll give half a pass to because his chops make up for it… The amp- not my flavor. Surprised Ola even reviewed it. Doesn’t really pair well with his style of playing. Perfect for Doug tho, & the cleans are dope.

Awesome playing but the tone is comically small with no bite, balls or anything good at all. Actually it's a perfect example of a player being able to play well on anything but not necessarily with a good tone.

To be fair, that thread is over 7 years old and the amp he’s hating on wouldn’t be the same circuit as this new one. He threw in a link to a video of him demoing it’s quality of tone and..well..it really explains itself once the notes start flying.
