Well regardless of past issues. Someone posted elsewhere that it's legit. They're friends on FB and Tim's wife has been posting videos and pics of him in the hospital so whatever. I donated a small amount why not.

True, and I have been on the receiving end of the many excuses but it isn't going to hurt. Does he deserve to have tons of people give him money? Probably not and I know for a fact he has outstanding debts/cabs that he owes to some good people but whatever. I donated $20, not the end of the world for me.

He's really sick. Currently in hospital. He like a lot of USA businesses often falls behind with orders (and gives various excuses) but this latest absence is legit.

The guy was not emailing me from the hospital I can assure you. Maybe he is there now, hopefully not. I would not wish anyone ill but he was perfectly fine when this was going down. Considering I actually (FINALLY) got to see pics of the cab, albeit a bit altered after I filed the claim.

That was a (possibly legit) excuse some years ago but the bottom line is the guy was taking orders saying the cabs were in stock but in reality he was taking orders and then starting the build.

That is fine, no big deal. I talked to him a lot, offered some advice and actually felt bad for him at one point. If he was up front and did not lie I would probably have a buzzbomb right now but instead I have a Mills Mach B 2x12 that matches my Mills Afterburner and I could not be happier.

It is water under the bridge and reading back on this maybe I was a bit harsh, I was extremely pissed off at the time of writing this thread but it is all good. It worked out better for me in the end and it looks like he may have sold the cab he was building for me on Ebay so it worked out for everyone I suppose.

Good service goes a long way with me and all that I needed was the truth that he could not deliver, after multiple opportunities.

It was pretty harrowing because he streamed a video of him struggling.

He's terrible with deadlines. My brother has ordered 10+ cabs and most were delayed.

You just have to accept with some companies they are innovators/creative types and that does not always mean they are savvy business men. He makes amazing sounding cabs. Worth the wait IMO.

his cabs aren't even that good. there are plenty of legit builders to work with out there.

For a 2x12 under massive volume they are the best you can buy. They don't fart out no matter what you throw at them and have a sweet tonality.

I was thinking the same thing - for all you know he crawled in a hospital bed while visiting a family member and his wife snapped a couple picks. Unfortunate that his reputation has taken so many hits that you can't trust his Go Fund Me campaign is legit.

as I have said before. i have absolutely no interest in these 2-212 buzzbombs or whatever they are called. anyone on RT that lives in the area and wishes to go visit the douche nozzle and claim those cabs, be my guest. being 9000 miles away, its a difficult task. otherwise, he would have paid up in cabs, $$$ or knee caps.
