No, I used Paypal and got the money back after a claim.

Yeah, call me a sucker I guess. Look at the picture man the dude looks fried and has racked up a ton with no insurance. Was only $20, not the end of the world for me and my family isn't starving.

I think Tim P ran into some of his own internal issues by not being able to handle his customers. Many were probably not as aggressive so in one way the greasy wheel things didn't work. I watched a few guys at HC forum, UG and Petrucci forums just go off about the products every chance. Many times it was the same guys. I often wondered if those experiences were legit or not since I knew so many others at forums and locally that did fine with ECC. That was several years ago though. Things can change with any company.
Myself and 2 other friends ordered Buzzbomb's from ECC. Custom orders, same day, and we all had cabs inside of 8 weeks. The strangest part was the foamed up delivery method. No box, just encased in thick green foam shell.
These cabs were badass and handled my Rectif or HK amps just fine. Almost as good as a 4x12.
Hoping Tim gets better, and hoping other guys can get their issues resolved. I could have sworn PP disputes were available for many years now. I can't say my experience was bad, but did get antsy at week 7. That following weekend the cab was at my office (req'd sig). Who knows really with what is on the web what is true and what isn't. At one time, used to be ongoing cab fights with guys suggesting custom cabs by ECC, but mostly getting pushed to Lopoline or Avatar. I think Lopo is out of business too. Avatar cab I had was ok, but not as good a sound as a BB.
