Because those puppies have no pull, you can have them blood tight up on the strings. Just put them a hair below string slap.

Press down on the strings on the 22nd fret, then raise the pups almost all the way to the strings.

My experience with EMG humbuckers has been to make them as high as possible without the strings touching them.
