Yeah ive used him a couple of times before but after seeing post on Facebook about him smashing someone's amp because they asked him an ETA or to "hurry up" or whatever was ridiculous, never again.Power tube "bias" w/a meter is set in relation to plate volts and a few other things.
Using an O-scope to bias an amp normally is to find "cross over distortion" type stuff.
Both will work fine but an O-scope isn't "mission critical".
I know who you're talking about and he is a strange guy.
There was also a local luthier i used for 3 refrets & 16 fret levels. Good work but he wigged out during covid.
Just because you can work on guitars & amps doesn't really mean you "work & play well with others."

Killer Vintage fixed my amp that needed some work insanely fast and with honest pricing. Actual storefront with respectable techs. Just not worth the risk for me to save a dollar.
