if you’re gonna try Stringjoys, at least be a little creative and try some custom gauges to make it worthwhile!
play your gtr with your standard strings and be hypercritical about which strings you might want to experiment with in terms of a little heavier or lighter. a rare thing to find off the shelf is a hybrid set with slightly heavier G/B/E strings and lighter E/A/D strings but if you want the tone of the heavier treble strings (ala 10s or 11s) and a little lighter shreddier bass wound strings ala hendrix/VH gauges you can do that.
and once you set up your account on their website, it remembers your custom gauges/orders making it easy to reorder.
