Dumble Overdrive Special.... total piece of shit, but it sounds pretty decent. lol
I had one of these "turds" myself back in '89... I traded it in for a Crate half-stack.

My favorite "crap" amp is a Johnson millennium 150 2x12. In the 90s they started out at like $1800 (when that technology was new) but now it seems to be about a $350-400 amp. Comes stock with midi, line out, true stereo (one patch per side), V30s, onboard fx. Can't really be beaten for the money IMO.

Man that brings back some memories....I was a full on Millennium fanboi back in the day. Had the 150, 2x12 ext cab, 250 Head, 4x12 and the J-Station which I still have. Ended up selling the 150 rig to the guitar player in Trust Company..............

My "crap" amp now would be my Peavey Classic 30. It sounds great when it works, however is broken down once again and I've tired of getting it fixed so it makes a good doorstop for the garage... :D

  They can still bring it. I'd like to get another j-station, much better alternative to a POD in my opinion. POD......now there is a real turd

Yeah, the newer Line 6 stuff kicks the J-Stations ass, but the J-Station is waaaaay better than the original POD 2.0 IMO. I still have the J-8 midi controller for it and that little rig has saved my ass a few times as a gig backup. I think you can find J-Stations for like fifty bucks these days. Great bargain!

Oh man, that reminds me. I found my old "Pocket Rockit" in storage the other day. Any of you remember those? Sounds horrible but fun!

Yeah I still have that full sized midi board for the jm150, I'm not sure the model on the board since I haven't played that amp in a year or so.

Oh dude....pocket rockit   I had one of those back in the day too, it sounded bad then so I can only imagine how bad it sounds now. The Korg Pandora (p4xd?) thing was like the same thing with more features and sounded equally bad for like triple the price

I'll have to go with the Roland cube as well. Not too shabby considering the monies.

Got one of those for my birthday once - good god it was awful. But I was so psyched to get it.

The Zoom 9002 on the other hand, kicked ass.

MY VOX VALVEMASTER MODELER THING.. it does some good stuff now and then

Maybe it's just nostalgia talking but I don't ever think there's been a correlation between the "quality" or price of my gear and how much fun I have playing. I miss the pre-internet days when gear-ignorance was bliss...
Damn man...you nailed it right there!
For years I used a Peavey Chorus 2X12 with an Ada MP-1 and was....*gasp*...happy?
This was before I ever heard of most of the amps available.
It wasnt until the Gear bug bit me....and I "HAD" to check out every amp available...
then I end back up with a Mesa Dual recto.(FJA modded of course) :D

Pod PRO rackmount (the original one) I still jam out on the Soldano sim and it rocks!

Other cheap amps I don't mind are the newer Marshall MG series, Peavey transtube stuff and I played a small Blackstar combo that was sweet.

I've had my Peavey Triple XXX for years, and still like it! It's built like a tank, and I've always been able to get some pretty good tones out of it!

I also love the peavye classic 50 4 10 but not considered junk really ....great tone I think it was rewired using the loop as a gain stage though. I havent played another like it.

Lots of them.....
