Favorite Guitarist - pick only one

[Superunknown]

Yngwie

[TaronKeim]

Tough one.

I'd have to go with Jag Tanna of I Mother Earth.

_TJK*

[Robotechnology]

Yngwie J. Malmsteen

[rocker]

There are so many but to pick only one I would say Angus Young.

[Mailman1971]

George Lynch

+100 on this.

[Inca Roads]

Overall I guess I would go with Andy Timmons.

But yeah, it changes often. I don't really have one absolute favourite - I listen to too much music and too many players to really single one out.

I was a Huge Vai fan growing up....then I heard Andy Timmons.
What a fresh new take on the instrument, I love his soulful Licks.
Still a Vai Guy, but Andy is just Killin' for me lately.

Can't get out of this thread without saying...........GUTHRIE!

[DET1973]

Pete Koller

[Mudder]

Gotta go with Gilbert. I always keep coming back to him and Bratta, but Paul has been busier the last 10years.

[Szar]

This is a REALLY hard decision, had to think it over for a couple of minutes.....

If we arn't limited to Guitarists that ONLY play guitar, Trent Reznor, if we are, James Hetfield....

[mrp5150]

Michael Amott

[guitar_god123456]

adrian smith

[Sick Michael]

Gary Moore

[skoora]

Gotta be Angus. Sorry Brian.

[Hard&Heavy]

Lynch

[billm408]

Michael Schenker.
Alex a close 2nd.

As of right now Alex Skolnick

[SFW]

Steve Lukather

This was a very tough call. There are several players that I love EVH, Lynch, Timmons, Thomas Blug (who just kills), Jerry Cantrell, etc... However, Luke is by far one of the most interesting and tasty players of the past 20 years, IMHO.

[Gainzilla]

There can be only one..

Mr Neal Schon

[shreder75]

ugh..only one? that's almost not fair...lol

I'd have to say lynch then I guess..

early lynch..dokken era lynch..not nu lynch...I must specify =D cause they're almost like two completely different people..lol

[sebby123]

Wow. Im the first one to say..

Guthrie Govan?!

common guys!

+1 for guthrie it changes daily though...

[Shark Diver]

Wow, impossible to pick just one. So, I won't. Funny though - If this was over at TGP Hendrix, SRV, Richards and John Mayer would have been said a thousand times already. Totally different audience over here.
