Whoa, just read through this thread. Glad it worked out for you. Kinda feel bad for the people who had to be ripped a new one because of the individual guy who decided to be a dick-wad. Regardless, it was obviously unfortunately necessary.

man, that sux brother. really shitty sucky sucks. i feel for you having to deal with this. i had it happen with me 2 times, and after that, i tapped out from using usps.

good luck with getting them to do anything, even recompense you. ..also, as much as you want to believe in it working for you (or us), that "federal offense" shit is more urban legend (even though YES, it's true) but rarely, if ever, you'll get the postal police to follow up and do anything for you, and thats after dealing with usps management. anyone involved in management i've ever had to deal with there would be better off serving up burgers at mcd's. but that's just my own experience. i also wouldn't confront the dude or tip him off in anyway. that's just me though. even though i'd wanna brain him with the usps scale!

i dont use usps for these very reasons anymore...only for low value items if and when it's convenient for me. i'd rather ship ups. other results may vary though, so, as with anything, use at your own risk. make sure you get your receipts in the least though, and make them scan your shit! even then though, there's really no guaruntee that it doesn't dissappear. yep, it sux, but thats just the way it is...not the way it's supposed to be (and most sheeple usually would think "well, this is the way it should be, so i just don't believe this stuff happens, har har...harrumph harrumph..." at their own peril i guess...sadly.).

glad to hear you've gotten it resolved. I ship usps a lot and it seems like lately (last 6+ months?) that tracking info is almost useless and just shows up the day, or day before, its delivery.

Glad it worked out :rock: shipping sometimes can be enough of a nightmare and if there's lowlifes who confuse the word shipping with stealing makes it even worse
 
Just saw this post. Sorry you had to go through all this because of a shitty postal worker. But I'm glad it had a happy ending!
