Ive played all of the amps that you have mentioned accept for the Marsha so I'll give you my opinion based on that and my opinion is also based on the amps that you already have lol

Since you have the Camerons, Id already rule out the Marsha. I think the Marsha is great but I think that you have that area covered already. Everyone knows that I'm a Fortin fan and I think the Bones is AMAZING and it has a different flavor but Id say that based on the amps you have Id lean towards the VH4. The VH4 will take you into an area that you Don't have covered IMHO.

Now that you have since added the NATAS.... Id also have to recommend that amp because to my knowledge there is not an amp like it in production today. It is truly one of a kind and Mike is doing some very clever stuff with that amp ( even the transformer design is unique.)

That's my 0.02

Now as a fan of all of these amps..... You can't go wrong with any of them IMHO

I have the CCV and the Bones. they are completley different amps. I know that you have the modded marshall area covered, so I would stay away from the Marsha. Not that it not a great amp you just have that area covered. My Bones is running 2 EL34 and 2 6550. Its not the hot rodded Marshall tone. It has a tone of it own and can get pretty heavy. I would say a great metal amp with flexability. Its not made for death metal if thats what your after.

If you get the Bones wired to work with the amp gizmo its almost like a 3 channel head. You can get Jake E lee type clean tones to hot rodded plexi to full out metal. Yes it will cop that Marshall vibe but it goes beyond that. It has a voicing all its own. I dont know about the VH4 never played one. If you are looking for a great metal tone I say get the Bones. Plus the build quality is frigging sick.

How far ar you from the NJ shore area ? Your more than welcome to stop over and play it. I have a CCV, Cali mod, Wizard MC and the Bones. You can compare all day long if you want.

I have a VH4, a Herbie, a Marsha and an M90 that may be looking for a good home. Kurt has my old Bones.

the Marsha is gonna overlap all the Camerons you have... very very very similar tone/feel to the Camerons (especially the HG jose)

I've played one before, they rock though

The Bones = Cameron or Cali mod stuff has to stop as they are not alike at all. The Cali and Cameron mods yes are simular but each with their own thing going on that is pretty easy to hear if you have them in the room together.

Bones is not a hot rodded marshall and would be cool sitting there next to a cameron collection.

Another thing, hot rodded marshalls and ccv's can get stupid metal tones in the right hands.

That VH4 vid is great, nice playing as well! I like that amp.

I have a dec 2008 built VH4 that I am considering selling if you're interested. One of the very last to leave the factory with EL34s.
Bought new May 2009 and has MAYBE 15 hrs on it.
