Mike Fortin is a genius, but I'm not a big fan of the Grind pedal. For palm muting it's awesome. It's tight and punchy as fuck. For chords, I think it sounds rather thin and string-y. Like there's too much string separation going on. It definitely helps to tighten really muddy/flubby amps.
