Well it happened!
I have one arriving on Monday. Was supposed to be Friday but UPS up here can’t get their act together, apparently. Man, am I ever excited to be getting a Friedman again. My last experience was not great so hopefully this one is it for me. My last one died after 4 days but man it was a great 4 days of tone! The store didn’t put any effort into getting it repaired (should have just called Dave) so I simply returned it and got a refund. I was in a bit of tight timeline as I had multiple gigs coming up on the weekends. I also ordered a matching 212 cab for it which will be here on Tuesday. The 50 watt version of this is exactly what I was looking for. Slightly smaller headshell and a bit of a lighter head with no top vent. The fact that it has the master controls and gain controls for BE and HBe is also what I was looking for as well as the extra controls for the thump, etc. So much to enjoy now! Can’t wait!
