Friedman BE or Axe FX2

After 10 years of this... isn't it really whether you can play, and have an ear for what sounds good?

Guys were doing phenomenal shit with a POD. Guys still are doing phenomenal shit with big ol' amps.

Play great. The rest does not matter. If some tool tells me I can't sound good because I'm playing thru an AXE-FX ... he probably owes me meth.
 
Fractal Axe-FXII a damn good tool but like all digital units built to last a few years and with time will be replace with a new unit from the same company or a new company that would do more things. On the other hand a Friedman BE-100 are amps that are made to last 3 or 4 decades or more with a sound that is destine for classic recordings. This amps cost now $3700 but you don't know if 20 years from now they will cost 3 or 4 times more. BE can do a lot of cool tones its hard to make it sound bad and works fantastic live or in the Studio.
