Any opinions on the Fryette 4x12 Fat Bottom cabs with the Eminence P50's? I don't see much talk about them and no clips/vids of any use. I am set on the vintage side of things and have enough cabinetry and speaker options there. Getting my metal rig back together. For scooped metal, there is no better cab to me than a front load to help project the scooped mids and dropped singles.
There's just not much available on the front loaded market, other than these Fryette, Bogner and Diezel. Curious about these Eminence speakers too. I spoke to Eminence and with the P50 being proprietary, they wouldn't say much. Closest produced speaker is the VG128. Still made in the USA which is good. Anything made in China goes in the Chin Bin.
Already own a German made Diezel (was I pissed to find Chinese Celestions in there for the fucking money the cab costs). Bogner has a front load cab but still has a back door and this seems to defeat the air-tight purpose build of the cab, but they sound good enough I guess
Jason already gave me some info and his opinion when paired with the Evil Pumpkin. Appreciated.....
