Fulltone OCD can it do high gain well? (video)

Made a video to test the Fulltone OCD and see if I can use the pedal for high gain purposes instead of crunch/overdrive.

I think the result is not bad, but it lacks when it comes to how it feels.
Actually reminds me of the times I had marshall amps (which I personally don't like for high gain)
Still, I think people that don't own a typical tube amp such as a 5150/mesa rectifier and want to have a high gain sound now and then, this might be an option.

Uhm... No

Get a metalzone, seriously, you can boost any mid gain kinda amp into metal territory with that pedal, also try it in the loop it sounds pretty good in the loop of some amps.
