It sounds good, actually. I usually record ideas and such with my Galaxy Note's built-in mic. Never felt the need for something fancier.

BTW, I really hate these big name companies selling apps and such to cash in on the gullible crowd who thinks they're the "real deal." This is in no way a bash against the OP, this has just been bothering me for a while.

I used a backing track in one take inside ampkit...then took the tracks over to multitrack daw app and mixed from there.
