Has this been discussed? Metaltronix

Marty was one of those guys who admits that he doesn't care much about which amp he's using. He can pretty much get along with any amp, so that explains perhaps why he was open to Crate.
He doesn't give a shit about guitars either, he said he just gives them away after a while, in interviews he basically knows nothing about them. He probably collects anime figures.

I had an M-1000 for awhile like 12-14 years ago. I thought it was fine I wouldn't hunt one down, but if I could get one for the price I got mine for or an 800 for the prices people are asking for those, I'd stick with the Metaltronix.

It sounded like what it was supposed to sound like, in the Paul Gilbert/Zakk Wylde sort of land, assuming you had the appropriate guitar going in. I recall it being a bit "sticky", as opposed to fluid gain. And a bit woofy, but I mean, that's sort of to be expected.

I had a Crate gx130c whatever the death metal one is. Was a powerless piece of poo.

I would love to try the audiophile power cord. Just to see if it is bullshit.

The price of entry ensures I never will

Why would anyone want a Metaltronix when we have Metasonix??

I wonder if that guy is still around. That amp has 23 tubes in it that are all weird ass ones used in TVs and shit, nothing "normal."

Not a lot of love out there, but I am curious if there's any diehard fans keeping the brand alive.

Jose by far.

For my tastes the Lee Jackson mods are too flubby and loose. Some people like that though.
Are they typically modded Marshalls?
