Help With KSR Gemini Loop

I'm not using to have a return and send level so what's the ideal way to set them?

I run an EQ, delay, and Zuul in the loop and I can hear the delay and the Zuul is definitely working but the EQ is not noticable like with all my other amps.

Yes I have the loop engaged.
