Hetfield is a talentless low IQ prick

Hetfield's playing was fine on them. It's suffering Kirk's half assed, cocked wah solos that made me want to kill myself.

It's also funny, roger waters has what FOUR original solo albums in the last four and a half decades?

Interestingly, his solo career has coincided in timeline with metallica's entire career, and he has literally done almost nothing because he's a talentless hack who lucked into being in the biggest band in the universe and skates off THEIR name and likeness, touring THEIR music

He's a fucking parasite and the lowest of the low

The music is easy, I respect Pink Floyd...But I'd take Metallica over them any day of the week. Personally, I've never met Roger Waters but in observing him in interviews (a few most recently on Piers Morgan) and considering his general reputation he appears to be insufferable and a very difficult personality. Conversely, I have been around Hetfield on several occasions and find him to be calm, pleasant and generally a very nice guy. This is a no contest (form me) at best.

Roger isn't Michael Anthony lucky, but he's pretty lucky. He was still a big part of Floyd's success.

If by "a big part" you mean he was one of the 4-5 guys that were there - sure

If you mean he was in any way a big musical contributor, please refer to the fact that he literally didn't even record most of his bass parts

He did write a lot of the songs though. And to be fair a lot of them are great songs. Pretty much the whole Wall album.

He wrote the lyrics, which isn't the same thing as writing the songs - the band and producer did like 90% of the music on "rogers songs"

And it's interesting how this gets conflated, especially with people like Roger who are basically complete hacks but lucked into fame somehow

I hate that damn album. I'd rather listen to DLR's vocal solo'ed than hear another pink floyd tune.

I don’t fxk with politics but;

Could you imagine being interrogated as a POW, and they try to psyop you with blasting hours of metal? LOL

If it was black album and before I’d enjoy the weaponized Metallica LOL. Can I be tortured by early death metal recorded in Tampa, FL pls?

I have '92's Amused to Death and there are a few really great moments there for sure and Beck is stellar.
Anybody heard this -
The Lockdown Sessions (2022 A collaborative album recorded during the pandemic, featuring guests like David Gilmour and Thom Yorke.

The Jews genociding the Palestinians and other assorted Jew crimes he rails against and hopes people would come more to his side to change things. Hates Trump for Trump's non-stop Jew cock gargling and his callousness toward people. I definitely can dig that.

Serious question. Is “Run like hell” the most uptempo and rocking song in the entire PF discography? I can listen to that and Another Brick in the Wall but man, most of their songs are the equivalent of watching paint dry.

A part?
When Syd was out of the picture. Roger took over, it was his band and continued to be his band up until David Gilmour, after the split stole the name.
The David Gilmour Pink Floyd is total dogshit. Any name Pink Floyd has is because of Roger Waters that's for sure and Animals, is a fucking masterpiece
