You don't know that, you don't know how the dude going through it felt, maybe that's how you hear it. But people hear and see things they want to hear or see and every individual is slightly different so your experience may not be like theirs.

My post there wasn't about "hope or encouragement" for you, who the fuck are you anyway

.
I’m Beyond Black, that’s who the fuck I am. 🫵🏻

That’s like choosing a preference between being mauled by a bear or eaten by a shark. Either way the outcome is not good.

What if the bear has explosives?

He chose to be a jerk in every post, which is against the rules.

I can't wait to see your playing....I'm sure you're amazing.
So are you just being a jerk in practically every post about me. Hmmm...could be trouble (in my best Jerry Seinfeld voice)

Fuck, I guess I'm going to have to start giving you guys all the references that I use, you're so fucking clueless

I don't listen to all that much Nickelback but I have shopped at Kroger's before.

I never thought about this before you mentioned it, but this is one of the most depressing parts of working at Walmart or Kroger. The job application should read: "Must be okay with listening to lots of Nickelback as our store radio plays it constantly." You hear that stuff 40 times and feel like your life is an endless loop of hell.

It’s almost as if great bands are a sum of their parts.

Definitely. I also think most artists only have a finite amount of creativity. In the rock/metal world a lot of this is driven from desperation/underdog-status so it seems natural to loose their edge after "making it big" for many/most acts to me too. I don't hold it against them. Some bands have one great song I love, and I find little else I enjoy. Others have an album or two. There are only a handful that have consistently produced great work over long periods of time.

Creed vs. Nickelback.

I've always been a bit puzzled over the hate at those acts. They're basically a 90's take on hair metal - straight forward pop music with a bit of an edge. I suppose if I heard them constantly on rotation I'd get sick of them, but I've never experienced that.....and is it really any different than hearing Bon Jovi on constant rotation?
