Yeh I guess I am the one with the Lee Jacksons
I only kept those and the MII's because it was the key to the sound I wanted..
I sold everything else knowing in the future I could just get one of the guitars out and plug in to one of the amps and be half way there again

It is cool to come back with fresh ears ..

are your M-II's from the early 90's late 80's as well? you have any pics of those bad boys?

Thanks for the Welcome every one...

The next couple weeks I am probably going to be asking a lot of questions on some of the newer gear that is out these days...

I have one of the Crate amps Lee Jackson helped deign. It actually belongs to bravedude2, but it is with me. :D He also has the Ampeg that Lee Jackson helped design. Both amps sound really brutal. He bought one of the racks of Lee Jackson and that just sucked.

It's 5:06 am, and I still haven't gone to sleep. :aww: I'm actually watching Sengoku 10 at the moment.

There are a few of us who are on here in the middle of the night all the time ..... i only sleep 4 or 5 hours a night and work different hours all the time.
may i ask if you don't mind what kind of job do you have that lets you work flexible hours ? self employed?

i fixed my pattern a couple of months ago... now it is back to me staying up to 5am or later and waking up at 8...

Since your new here ....here are a few tips....

If donbarzini's puts up a link be careful opening it in less you are into "Cruising"

If you get bored here you can always go over here to hang out with a lot of very open minded people ....

I bought/Ordered both MII's in 1993 not at the same time though but the strange thing is I received the 2nd guitar that I ordered before the first one..
I only have One picture of the MII i got out of storage here and that is the rosewood fingerboard one but the picture is from back in the 90's lol

I am a nightclub manager/bartender, hence why I am always up late! I do envy my wife, being a self employed hair stylist....she kinda makes her own hours and days to work.

Nice for both of us though to usually have sun/mon/thurs off together.

Yeh isnt that the Crate Stealth head or something?? The Crate head that Lee designed Tommy Victor of Prong always used to use it back in the day..

Before I bought the Lee Jackson's I went through a crap load of amps Peavy 5150, Soldano hot rod 50 HR 2 channel head, VHT Pit bull.

I am a painter....I have worked for twin brothers for a long time .... It is very much like working for myself. It is more like hanging out with friends than working. We do a lot of business .... they have customers so we paint at night when closed often. This year has been very slow .... and I have nothing better to do.

I was talking to my mom not to long ago about this sleeping thing....she said I was always up at night even as a baby. She gave up on it when I turned 14. I sleep when I am tired and eat when I am hungry. I know it sounds crazy .... but it works for me. Wonder whats around here to eat ?

i loved working nights. i could go to school during the day and it also left me with alot of free time - granted there were some days i would sleep 13 hours.

i do remember once sleeping literally 21 hours straight. went to bed around 3PM and woke up about 1PM. i was like theres no way i slept negative 2 hours so i thought my clock was screwed then i realized well probably slept a good 8 hours or so and got up and showered. i checked the calendar on my computer to figure out the correct time/date and i remember thinking "the 20th?! i went to bed on the 18th?!"

Hey Russ, i know how you feel.

i no joke used to go to wal-mart at 4am and study while i ate to take a break

it's like a ghost town where i live at 3-4am.

yeah same, there were some nights when i worked my day job at best buy, i got home close to midnight and the gas-stations were already closed. always remembered having to fill-up before work otherwise i was screwed

Exactly what I do. Too bad I'm gonna have to stop if I get accepted into this one program at school. The classes start at around 6 am and go until past 5 pm.
