I think people are demanding more from amplifiers for the money. On top of that, more companies exist to deliver those options which lets people choose what they prefer and want their money to go towards. Not only do more options exist today for tonal preferences and features, but build quality is also held to a higher standard. Back in the day he was one of the only options.

Things have changed a lot in 20 years and it’s surely not helping him with IR captures that exist without the risk of getting screwed over or overpaying on something that’s IMO lagging the market that exists now.

Let’s face it - musicians are demanding more for their money and companies are answering that call. Anyone who doesn’t will be left combating the DIY tinker and hobbyist crowd who want to learn to gain up an amp and experience the challenges on their own along the way.

Oh yeah, it's done, initially got taken over by a domain squatter, I'm out of the gear business in any way. I sold of most of my gear due to health issues and just post and watch this stuff for fun now.
