Marshalls in the 80s.
Huge rack of high end stuff in the 90s.
Back to amp heads in the new millennium. Slowly kept upgrading to different cooler shit from 2007 on.

Always loved my tone, and never cared what others thought of it.

Hey LLEADD
I'm about 45 mins from London.

I learned a lot from HC back in the day.
Lots of information and misinformation.
Lots of Hype.
I now like reading the reviews from actual owners.
If you can sift through it and find the good stuff it points you in the right general direction for what you want.
After that I learned a lot from trial and error ...
I think tone is so personal , you can only learn so much from others.
You have to play it, learn it, make it yours.

Nathan

a billion hours of trial and error.
a/b comparisons...i'd have one amazing database if i could have recorded every pickup, speaker, tube, guitar wood, amp, pedal, cable, rack effect, mic, mixer, string, and pick i had the good fortune to play through or hear.
