Misery loves company.

I would post the one my GF sent, but it's blurry crazy trees and water...

I'd swear CNN is trying to kill a reporter today...

EDIT-They just lost power... Suprised they held out this long...

Danny, Scott, Ralph, Kage, Brad and others in the NE we haven't heard from. Stay high and dry.....

Yeah man...no shit! Watching it on the news, and it's a mess...

Heard back from Psychodave; he's losing power on and off, but he's ok.

rain hammering here....a little nervous as well about the bit trees beside the house on the hillside...
first sign of shit hitting the fan and we're rolling out.

Wish you all the best, I grew up in those parts and this one sounds bad. Brad board up those windows man.

Advise him to move all his amps out of the basement. Flooding and loss of power is a lot to deal with, especially in that area where they aren't used to this sort of thing.

My power's been out for 2 hours now. I'm 30 minutes inland so I only have to worry about the wind, but it's been intense. I heard a few big cracks and saw the sky light up several times, and it wasn't lightening....probably power lines.

Last years storm, Irene, was worse for those inland because of the monstrous amount of rain, the people that live near the shore are getting slamed this time. The rain hasn't been bad but the wind is insane and the storm suge at the beach is bad.

This was hours ago in Atlantic City. And high tide is at 11:00pm

all is well here, powers out but I have a generator , transformers popping all over, trees down, power lines down, flooding , hudson surging down the road from me. Def never seen anything like it in my lifetime!

stay safe!

Fairly heavy rains turned to snow here just east of Pittsburgh. Basement is leaking a bit, roof is leaking a bit. House is 130+ yrs old so I won't complain too much.

Power still on for the moment. Generator ready and waiting.

Kids are snug in their beds so I will call it a win for now.

Stay safe everybody! Things can be replaced...
