My bud Rob Keeley is flying out there right now. You guys gotta swing by his booth and check out his pedals. He is a super cool guy and has some great new pedals out. Tell him his friend Mike from high school sent you guys to check out the tones!!! Wish I could go there. I'm hoping he goes to Sweetwater Gearfest this year so I can see him again. We also have our class reunion this year so he'll have to probably choose between friends or gear sales.

I just purchased a Keeley Filaments high gain pedal. I've heard great demos and hope it meets expectations. All of Keeley's other pedals have been awesome, so I have high hopes.

Awesome man, that is a great pedal!! When I met him last year at a show he let me demo that one for a customer. I was like "dude, I don't know what the hell I'm doing!!" and he just started laughing and said "just play something man". He has been coming out with some great pedals lately.

When we were in high school I had some shitty Arion (?) pedal or something like that. I went over to his house to jam and he's got all of these BOSS pedals laying on the floor and I was jealous as hell. He let me borrow the "Heavy Metal" pedal and I saw what all the fuss was about with those pedals. Great to see him making pedals now. Blows my mind. When we met up last year at Sweetwater he wanted to talk about anything but pedals or guitars. LOL. He had been sitting there under a tent with loud tones coming from every direction.

The new Katana Air looks like the ultimate practice amp for quick and easy jamming. I love the concept, wireless transmitter has a motion sensor so just pick the guitar up and the amp and everything turns on. That’s cool as shit.

Those are great stories! Sounds like he's a cool dude. I got the Filaments pedal today. I'll get a chance to crank it up tomorrow and report back.

I never really follow the namm stuff, but only because I've never been lucky enough to be even close to going...does Peavey typically take part? It would be nice to see what is (or isn't) going on with the new HP2 (Wolfang v2) line....not much hype or talk online these days, there was that initial splash, then crickets.

Did tues/thurs and flew back Friday morning. Friday/Sat/Sun are just wayyyy too busy to actually get anything done. Even Thurs is hard with all the noise.

Awesome man, let me know how you like it!! I gotta get off my ass and get one myself. I feel like a lazy ass for not getting one and I have no excuse. LOL! I have a few of his pedals and got the D&M Drive from him last summer. That pedal is awesome!! Not a high gain like Filaments but great drive and boost pedal. I use it with my Axe-Fx II and sounds great!

Yeah he had a rough period he told me about when he had a drug problem. There is even a video out there of him talking about it with JHS pedals or some other company. You could tell when he was struggling too because he wasn't coming out with alot of new stuff. Now he is just coming out with one awesome pedal after another. He tried to go beyond the typical pedal style.

Yeah, Peavey was there. I was interested in laying my hands on an HP2 - pretty nice. I also checked out the Composite Acoustics guitars by them- I'm definitely gonna snag one of those.
