i feel like this band was in that weird in between zone of not pure death enough for most death metal dudes, but too metal for the metalcore dudes at the time to really blow up.

They are a grindcore band that kinda diversified on that album with other genres. It really is an anomaly for them.

That last song still gets me two decades later. The creepy clean part into that riff, man.
