I don't know, man. Nothing about spending your days typing up posts of "how unusual it is to see a white high schooler do a record-setting sprint" onto a guitar forum screams "rock 'n roll" to me.

And you tattletale to the “super douche” moderators to ban people you can’t tolerate because your nartard feelings gets hurt.

I'm not a hypocrite for talking politics in the politics section of a forum while simultaneously telling people they shouldn't talk politics on a forum whose rules state "NO posts about politics or religion allowed!". Forums are privately owned and they have rules - learn how to read and follow them, and you won't get banned (often). It's super simple stuff. Did you guys not have parents or school or something?
Whatever you say Mark Zuckerberg. SS.org political discussion is left leaning tolerant, or you’re banned for “trolling” by the left leaning super douch moderators. It’s super simple stuff you know. So you get to spew left leaning ideologies while *laughing* behind your computer screens and banning those with which you don’t agree with. That’s what’s going on here nartard.
So yes you are a hypocrite. As long as the rules apply in your favor it’s all good isn’t it? Scold others for their free speech while having safe space political discussions in a musical forum you frequent 24/7.

Guitar-oriented forums ought to be a lot more flexible practically by-definition, especially if there's a bunch of rockers as members. Classical guitar, maybe not so much, but R&R? Definitely, IMHO.

I was referring to the general principal you outlined in the preceding post 'though. Rockers tend to have firm(!) ideas about politics, conspiracies and boobs and it doesn't usually take much to set them off. That's 3 out of the 4 subjects you mentioned.
Hopefully you get where I'm coming from.![]()

narad":28hqglnq said:Yea, I get it. I just feel like there's places that cater a bit more to "rock n' roll" values / mindset (RT, I think Steel Panther has something setup, etc.). It's obvious right-out that TGP isn't one of them, so why are people surprised when they try to push it, against the rules, and get banned? You know, read the room. TGP has the atmosphere of PTA meeting, not a strip club, and you don't get to go to a parent-teacher conference for a kid at elementary school with a sex, drugs, and rock n' roll attitude.
