Almost every pedal on my board is a Keeley pedal (other than my Griffin Boris and a few others) but looks like I'm getting another one. Sounds amazing in the demos and will work great with my Halo in a stereo setup!

Absolutely! I can tell you as a friend of his, he had always been the nicest dude and a huge heart. He enjoys life and never takes himself too seriously. I'm so proud of him and what he has accomplished. The fact that i'm a guitarist and get to enjoy his creations is a bonus, lol.Sounds killer. Plus Keeley has fantastic customer service and support for their pedals. Great company.
I was surprised how good it sounded clean or dirty. It sounds awesome in all the demo videos.
Pairing it with the Halo seems like such a cool idea too. Having both pedals means you can use the Halo for high gain parts where distinct repeats make more sense and actually do sound clearer overall, but then for cleaner parts, you can switch to the Nocturne to retain basically the same overall ambient footprint as the Halo but remove the distinct echoes poking out and competing for attention.
Also, from the demos, it sounds like the spring reverb in this thing might actually be worth a damn. I’ve always hated spring reverb, real or digital, but the spring in this sounds cool. The Modulation knob controls how much emphasis is on the drip effect, which might be the most convincing, exaggerated spring drip sound I’ve ever heard from an emulation. Seems great for when you’d want to use reverb as more of a gag effect for old sounding stuff.
I was thinking the same thing!!!Unfair demo, Andy Timmons can make anything sound good, haha.
Nice!! Are you running it in mono or stereo? I like having the preset and WYSIWYG settings. I'll have the one set for clean, lush sounds and the other for heavier sounds.Got my Nocturne a couple weeks back as well. Really digging it! Keep going back and forth between the plate and Nocturne reverbs. Has some tech to it but not too “techy” for me. It really upped my reverb game for sure. Just sounds wonderful.
I have the capability to run in stereo I think, but not sure really how to set up my gear in stereo?Nice!! Are you running it in mono or stereo? I like having the preset and WYSIWYG settings. I'll have the one set for clean, lush sounds and the other for heavier sounds.
I get so into the Nocturne that I forget about the other modes, lol. I love using the Keeley Halo into the Nocturne in stereo. Sounds killer!
I can help you do that if you are interested. There is a really easy want to do it. Have your mono setup the way you already do to one amp. For the second amp, you can just run a cable to the "return" jack in the second amp. So you'll be using just the power section of 2nd amp.I have the capability to run in stereo I think, but not sure really how to set up my gear in stereo?
I do have two heads and two cabs.
Just using it in mono right now.
I’ll definitely try that!I can help you do that if you are interested. There is a really easy want to do it. Have your mono setup the way you already do to one amp. Both of those settings sound fantastic IMOI was very interested in this a month ago, but I'm not sure I need it? I can use the reverb on my 5150 combo which sounds okay to me. I'd pretty much be buying this for the Plate and the Nocturne settings only.
No I don't think so because you are just taking that sound from the one amp and only using the power section of the second amp by going into the effects loop return.I’ll definitely try that!
Do you think there will be phase issues?
