Didn't know Traynor has been around that long.
They have been around since the 60's. It still has the original 6CA7's too.

Awesome George, I used to have one of those Traynor Mark 3's. I wish I never sold it. It had the best damn tremolo I've ever heard, you don't even have to like tremolo to dig it. There is alot of twin heritage in that amp's circuit, but with el34's and big assed old school Hammond iron. I'm sitting in front 3 old traynors as I type this, killer amps, especially with a few tasteful tweaks. The Mark 3 is great as is, if I recall the bottom input is high sensitivity and the top is low, backwards from most amps.

If this is your new modern amp for the 7 string stuff, then you really dropped the ball George ;)

Yeah the tremolo is very nice on it. I didnt even try the bottom input, I'll have to look into that. The amp sure weighs a ton, full of mustard caps, 6CA7's and a built in fan!!

What tweaks do you like on these?

Nah this is for more of a funk/ country type tone. :)

Cab is pretty cool eh?

Was not expecting that :D

Congrats George
I know you were thinking it was a Boogie

Well I was hoping for you to come to your senses at some point

I found a crazy amp while dropping off the Ranchcaster for a set-up, a Fender 435 or something bass amp from the 60s. The power cord was almost the size of a garden hose and had a shitload of power tubes in it. I need to read up on that thing.

Most definitely  I'd love to see an inside pic.

Any more info on the new 'V' 4x12s ? You can PM me if neccessary.
I'm interested if they're braced as heavily as the old ones, weight, cost, etc.

Oh man....thats gotta be crazy and scarey! Probably weighs a ton. Never heard of those before.

I got a couple cool old tube power amp, a tube reel to reel and a Wurlitzer powered speaker cabinet (its tube too). Looking forward to digging into those and see if they still work. :)

You should see how many screws there are in the back panels!!! The back panel is in three sections and are removable for a semi open back thing. 25 screws plus 10 in each handle plus 4 in each jackplate! Not as deep as the 4-12's.

I just got done playing it theu the MC and Metal. Sounds really good, very beefy. The WR20's are alot tighter / more solid on the bottom end (7 string friendly) with overall a similar GB flavored voice. See how they sound when broken in. Rick said they have put 50 watts into them no problem. I've had them kinda loud already  Really liking them so far.

I'll find out some info for you..... :)
