I'm not sure what you would consider affordable but in my experience Sour Mash builds one of the best Marshall head boxes.
Really surprised me.

splawns web site says 225.00 usd... its not really a plexi its a custom build amp that is being built for me

Sour Mash is great and they will customize if you call them.

I had Splawn do mine. IIRC it wasn't much more than $200 and Scott was great to deal with!

I'd recommend Valvestorm over sourmash. I had.to modify my sourmash front baffle to fit the chassis because it was too shallow. I think another person has experienced the same issue

He was complaining Mojo is too expensive and they're cheaper than Valvestorm... Valvestorm is great to deal with though
