It's interesting if you actually read the Bible, the Quran, the Vedic texts, about the Buddha, etc.
All religions talk about some event that's to take place now.
The Christians talk about the Anti-Christ and Judgment Day.
The Jews talk about Gideon, the Destroyer.
The Hindus talk about Kalki and the Kalyug.
The Quran talks about the Mahdi.
Another interesting similarity between those ancient texts. Many of them all talk about pogroms of men, women and children before the coming of whoever or whatever. Think about Herod or Kamsa or the Pharaohs.
And it's progressively worse. Krishna's parents were incarcerated and all their progeny killed save one, thanks to "parting of the waters". Children were killed when Moses arrived too. In Jesus' time, they probably killed the men, women and children. Ditto for Mohammed.
This time? Maybe they killed the guy as well. Always a first time for everything.
Meanwhile, if you see what's been happening of late, we had a plague (Covid-19), we had locusts swarming over large parts of Africa and South Asia, we had many wars, and there's been a lot of death. So said guy may be hanging around laughing as the place and life becomes harder and harder and things get worse and worse.
I also think one of the options being discussed by our elite is global war to cover up evidence of some pretty sick stuff that has apparently being going on in the background of "normal, everyday life". Think about the millions of Epsteins in the music industry or government, or the cannibals that are apparently in our midst, or those parents incarcerating and inbreeding with their children. Or our rotten priests preying on kids.
I don't think of myself as particularly religious btw, but I kind of feel that the human race is buying time.
In that regard, I'm not sure many understand what self-fulfilling prophecies are like. But apparently everyone is subscribing to "The End of the World as we know it". And we'll get what we deserve.
Take everything I say with a grain of salt though. I don't want to start a religious debate.

I’ve also looked a bit into Gnostic teachings as well. Their take on the origin of life and God is quite fascinating and I feel can fill in some gaps. But they were deemed heretics and basically quashed. Definitely worth looking into!
