Your link is to gasoline and diesel prices. Those are products produced after refining, distributing, taxing and profit taking the oil which is priced globally.

PLUS, that comment you just posted was about the US and the US ONLY. Your original post, the one we're discussing, was about prices AROUND THE WORLD.

How much crude oil did you put in your gas tank today?
It's semantics, oil is obviously refined into gasoline.
Only 20% goes through the Straight, also.

None of them are a good option. The issue is
1. Anybody who wants to be in politics has a screw loose.
2. Once they get into politics, they realize they have ZERO say and ZERO power, as the illusion on the outside of "how it works" is in stark contrast to the way "it works" once you are on the inside.
3. The reason for number 2 is that the politicians and the president DO NOT run the country. The people with MONEY run the country.

As always, follow the money.

It boggles my mind that people still think that voting matters. Life for me has not changed since Ronald Regan. I still live high off the hog. But in this particular time, my money is not going near as far as it did. I'm getting fucked left and right by the system. These fucks want to raise the age people get social security while the former IDIOT gave billions of dollars to the Ukraine? GOVERNMENT, FUCKING FUCK YOU. ALL OF THEM. EVERY LAST FUCKING POLITICIAN IS ON THE TAKE. Special interests run the government.

It's beyond comprehension how the people in this country put up with this shit. People don't have the energy to protest, me included. We are indoctrinated into a work force system that basically kills your soul and will to live and works you to death, with a carrot dangling in front of you for 40 years where you spend more time with people you fucking hate at your work, than your own family. FUCK YOU!!! People, myself included, just look forward to getting shitfaced all weekend, or stuffing their face full of shit food, or baking out and playing video games, and at least for a few hours you can pretend everything is ok, or like me, reach the point more and more of just not give a shit.

I'm not really religious, although raised Catholic. But I'm starting to believe that this country, at least the people in the government and power are pure fucking evil. People need to wake the fuck up and stop voting and contributing to this corrupt system. Send a message that EVERYONE has lost faith in the government. You can bullshit yourself and say I'm wrong, but you know deep down I am right about all of this. This country is FUCKED.

Other than Woke Communists who don't even care about things like employment or production. They are counting on the Central Authoritarian Gubment to provide for the People, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs".

They are more concerned with women having the "right" or excuse to murder their own toddlers if they are depressed, which makes them "temporarily" insane and therefore not liable for their crimes. And the general Transretard, Anti-Christian, Anti-White, Anti-American Agenda.

It's weird that ever since I entered this planet in 1980, our financial system and our currency has been on this downward spiral. Funny how people thought things were bad in the 1980s. We still had a chance of paying back the national debt back then. There's no chance now.

The thing that scares me most is that they could try to blame the collapse on the free market. Not saying the free market doesn't have some dark sides to it, but it's far more fair than a government controlled market. I'll be doing whatever I can to make sure speak up if this happens -- if just a small percentage do, the agenda will fail.
 
The only real problem is that Congress has spent trillions on useless endeavors.

But the possibility of growing our way out of this debt is a real one. I don't think it's too late, yet.
