Is the rectifier a copy of a SLO?

All that said, the recto practically defined a genre with it's tone (talking about nu-metal). It was on so many recordings in the 90's and early 00's, but the SLO hardly made a splash... I find it more 80's sounding myself. I think It would have been a lot more popular if it had been released 5 years earlier.
Hardly made a splash...
It was my first dream amp when I got into guitar as a teen. I wasn't alone.
It was revered when it came out, opened the door to a whole other world of amps.
It has been included on every modeler since the first Line 6, used by the best guitarists across different genres.

I remember the first time hearing a SLO in person was seeing Gov’t Mule live. It was a small room and Warren Haynes had it cranked! One of the best live tones I ever heard.
