What year is the re-issue, because you know, some years are better than others

How about an auditory cleanse by doing Fast As A Shark

If you wouldn't have mentioned it was a different amp and said it was a CCV you would've had everybody fooled!
Great tone!

Thanks again for watching everyone.

The amp was made in 2004 :D

YOu said Marshall did not make anything good during that period :D

Sounds awesome Dave!

Sounds awesome to me. Classic Marshall tone. Just enough gain for my taste. The louder you crank it, the less gain you need anyway.

Sounds great to my ears too... I can totally hear the SD-1 on the top end though. That's why I prefer the bad monkey or modded DOD YJM I have. As for the solo.. slow it down a bit there Norum, let it breaaaaaaathe! :)

im going to guess jcm800 with tim boost...

Haha. Close

You guys are good. It's a stock reissue JCM800 with a Boss SD-1 out front. I loaded it up with JJ E34L's and a mix of good preamp tubes. I picked it up yesterday on a whim... And I am shocked how good it sounds...for a JCM800 reissue

lots of men tour with those Dave, the insides may be inferior to some other hand wired boutique clones but in my experience, only Marshall gets the Marshall tone right even with what some consider sub-par build quality. The stock SD-1 is still one of the best OD pedals and it's less than $40.00
Just to get one good vote in for women's lib... I bought my SD-1 from a women....also before you asked she had a women's name......And she smelled terrific!
