I've got a modded 50W head. Nice alternative to a Marshall. Has a nice grit to its tone.

I have several Jet City amps (and cabs). Three 20 watt ones (one is a Friedman modded one which is a lot like the Runt 20), a 50H but modded quite a bit, and 1 of 2 Earhart prototypes (the guy who did the TITAN modded Jet City did a demo of the other one). And 7 cabs ranging from ISO to 4x12s. Yeah, I have . . . a few lol

I purchased my JCA50H new from Musicians Friend. I have done numerous mods, I encourage everyone to add a B+ fuse. Stock it only has a mains fuse and if you have a power tube short without the B+ fuse you could do severe damage to the amp. I replaced most of the stock components, added Depth Mod, I cut all the preamp heater traces and elevated them. This tremendously helped with noise issues. I also did the basic SLO clean/crunch mod. Have a three position switch for stock, Warren Haynes mod, and that some call the rectifier mod. Replaced the 1M gain pots for 500k pots like you would see in a normal SLO.
