Was simply stating he is extremely talented, anybody here who denies that is a complete moron, end of story, just because his style may not be your thing, and I'll be the first to admit I'm not a huge fan of his music, doesn't mean he hasn't sold millions of records and is quite a talented musician.
So making fun of someone of that caliber for getting on stage and jamming and having a good time just seems a bit ridiculous that's all, sure it wasn't perfect, he's not Van Halen obviously and isn't claiming to be... attacking me for my opinion is in turn just as childish... just sayin....

That was bad! I don't care if it was Jahn Mayer or John Doe. I don't have a problem with him covering the song and having some fun, but at least have some respect and play it like it is supposed to be played. I think John Mayer is a talented guitarist, but his cover of VH was about on par with what you would hear at a high school talent show.
