This has been posted countless times before and yes he hacks this one up pretty nicely.. really the tone and shit playing doesn't bug me as much as he does. He thinks he is hot shit in this vid and he sucks. Worse than tone and his posturing, is his voice. Who the f-ck could listen to an album of him half whispering and that god aweful voice he considers to be a vocal style?

I feel the same way. Listening to him sing is like somebody sctratching a blackboard. They both make me cringe.

Ehh...he's having fun. The fact that he even cares to strap on a frankie and goof on some VH tells me he probably is a fan like most of us.

And it's outside the genre he normally plays. Hell, I may not nail some songs I like but may try them anyway for fun.

Jeez guys. I see the problem right from the start. He was not using a 5150, II or III. If he had been, it would have been spot on.

I went to a concert once which I saw televised some time after. On tv it sounded absolutely horrendous compared to experiencing it live.

I think a lot of you are missing the point. He's a Connecticut rich kid with skills.

The guy bought himself a 20,000 dollar guitar so he could play rock star for ONE number and feel like Van Halen!

He's the ULTIMATE BOY! It's like a 15 year old's wet dream. I bet he hasn't touched the guitar half a dozen times since.

And in my eyes, when you get paid big bucks to play your guitar in front of a shitload of people, you're a professional musician and professional musicians should stick to their genre to avoid situations like this.

I couldn't care less. Play whatever you want whenever you want regardless of what you do for a living. Have some fun and crack a smile once in a while. <burp>
